      Ingredients

      Our ingredients are non-toxic, vegan and cruelty free. Their scientific names might look a bit bonkers but you can check out more info on our ingredients in our FAQs here, to make sure they make sense. 

      Laundry 15% - 30% Zeolites, 5% - 15% Non-ionic surfactants, < 5% Soap and Enzymes

      For Best Results

      Use 1x pod for standard dirt + soft/medium water. Use 2x pods for heavy dirt, hard water or a washing machine from 6-8kgs. Keep out of reach of children, obviously. No need to unwrap, just chuck the pod in the back of the drum and you're good to go.

      Why our pods?

      The chemicals we use in our day to day products really matter. They ultimately end up in the waste water stream. The more we switch to natural, eco and fully biodegradable ingredients the better and the more compact we make our products, the less chemicals we’re using in total! If we can make our products smaller and lighter by using more compact and more effective ingredients then that’s a win-win. And they are made in a factory run from 100% renewable energy sources.

          I have sensitive skin, are your pods suitable?
          The pods are formulated to be kind to skin. Here is a full list of the ingredients in our laundry pods: Cellulose gum; Citric acid; Laureth-7; Sodium bicarbonate; Sodium carbonate; Sodium citrate; Sodium palmitate; Sodium polyitaconate; Sodium silicate; Sodium stearate; Sodium sulphate; Subtilisin; Zeolite.           Do they contain fabric softener?
          Currently our eco laundry pods do not contain fabric conditioner and we recommend that people use their favourite fabric conditioner in addition to our pods if this is something that you like to use. We found that a lot of people do not like/use softener which is why we haven't included this in our pods. It also helps us keep them hypoallergenic and fragrance free ✨
          Why powder pods rather than gel?
          At Homethings our product ethos is all about using tabs and powders because they deliver the best performance with the lowest environmental footprint. For example liquid based pods in concentrate format use more water in the manufacturing process than powdered products.
